Sexy Imperfections – A Performing Arts Workshop on Embracing Vulnerability & Playfulness

Discover how vulnerability, foolishness, and seduction can become your most powerful creative tools in your performance practice and personal growth.

Justi Tutti Gusti is an educator, community artist, and performer with a BA in Fine Arts (Glasgow School of Art) and a Master’s in Adult Education for Social Change. With over a decade of experience in community arts, she devises performances on meaningful themes, drawing inspiration from burlesque, clowning, butoh, ballroom culture, theatre improvisation, and the work of Bill Plotkin.
Her evolving methodology, Burlesco Wacko, has been featured at gatherings and festivals such as Touch and Play in Germany (2023 & 2024), Cyprus, and Portugal. It invites participants to embrace the absurd, queer, exaggerated, lyrical, and dark, empowering seductive self-expression through playful dance, theatre, and performance.
In a safe space where weirdness and failure are celebrated, participants discover and own their “seductive wacko.” This is not about pleasing others but celebrating unique sexual energy as a source of creativity. By exploring the performative nature of sexuality, participants delve into their desires and fears, unlocking boundless artistic inspiration. Being seen and witnessing others in this process fosters profound acceptance and freedom.
𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐨 𝐑𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐨:
With over 11 years in the creative industry, Riccardo combines art direction and visual arts with the playful spontaneity of clowning. His work focuses on reconnecting people with their innate creativity, inviting them to embrace the joy of artistic expression. From street performances to animated collages, he explores the beauty of imperfection and the magic of collective creation.
Have you ever wanted to connect more deeply with yourself, transforming flaws and vulnerabilities into powerful resources? The clown offers a unique perspective—a non-conventional master who shows us how to live life as a comedy, filled with authenticity and joy.
With his workshop, participants will explore the clown’s methodology, learning to embrace their true selves by using failures and imperfections as tools for growth. The clown’s honesty in expressing feelings transforms difficulties into opportunities, turning life into an authentic and joyful performance.
𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐟:
With a background in dance and choreography, Daniella developed her practice of voice for movers, focusing on the performance art of improvisation. In recent years, she has explored the field of intimacy and sexuality through various programs and is currently participating in the 2nd year of training SOMA Intimacy. Daniella is driven by a passion for freedom, love, and authentic expression.
Witnessing Self-Love: Pleasure exists only in the present moment. Daniella invites participants to explore the essence of self-love practice and its potential to ground us and enrich our presence. Through this workshop, participants will discover how to embody self-love in performative spaces, learning to be fully present with themselves and others simultaneously. Together, we’ll investigate how these practices can unlock freedom, expression, and connection in performance and beyond.
